ALIX DIACONIS
is a freelance video editor, videographer, and director based in New York. Alix is best known for editing BEACH COTTAGE CHRONICLES, Telly-award winning show on HBO and Magnolia Network, as well as content for ESPN, Vox Media, Bloomberg, Atlas Obscura, Giant, and BRIC. She has also edited documentary work for Oscar-nominated and Cannes-winning directors. In 2023, she received two Webby Awards for her video work at Vox Media.
In 2018, ARE YOU GLAD I’M HERE, a feature film edited by Alix, won the Brooklyn Film Festival Audience Award and screened in the U.S., Lebanon, and London.
Alix graduated from Bard College with a degree in Film while working as a 35mm film projectionist. She attributes her love of filmmaking to her local public access station, where she got her start.
